For a while, I used to be that person who never paid much attention to my workstation. All that mattered was the satisfaction of completing my tasks and goals. Although flexibility and adaptation to work in any type of environment is a good trait; efficiency and morale will be heavily affected. It’s amazing how clearing your desk and keeping things minimal can boost productivity.
With the pandemic on the rise and people working from home, it might be time to spice things up.

LIGHTING

Proper lighting is so important on your desk setup, especially if you work long hours. Depending on the time of day; placing your workstation at a convenient location in your house will prove to make a difference. The desk should be next to a window for maximum sunlight.

At night you should get a desk lamp to improve visibility and productivity. When the room is too dark, your eyes work harder as the pupils have to constrict and dilate to compensate for light flickering.

These are some of the best desk lamps to get.

CORD MANAGEMENT

There’s nothing worse than tripping on your cords. That feeling of overwhelming anger and rage, that builds up when you realize you’ve spilled your morning coffee; the irresistible urge to completely kick your computer and flip the table; until common sense kicks in again. All that can be avoided by keeping cords hidden and reducing clutter on your workstation. These are some of the best cord organization products that you can get.

TABLE & CHAIR

What’s a workstation without a desk and chair. Selecting furniture that has the best level of comfort will boost efficiency and productivity. The most convenient product will offer adjustable height to facilitate different seating positions. Depending on your budget and aesthetics, Amazon has countless chairs and desks that can change the way you work.
